Jonathan R. Slie is a results-driven trial attorney and trusted legal strategist with over 15 years of experience guiding clients through high-stakes real estate, business, and civil litigation matters. Known for resolving disputes before trial through precision-crafted settlements, Jonathan blends his background in law, business operations, and finance to deliver exceptional value to clients.

Jonathan’s practice focuses on real estate and business litigation, including fiduciary disputes, real property conflicts, entity governance, and trust matters. With a deep command of financial statements, risk analysis, and deal structures, he regularly uncovers efficient legal pathways and creates practical solutions that many others overlook.

Jonathan has served as lead counsel in numerous matters involving judicial dissolution, easement termination, investor trust disputes, and breach of contract / unjust enrichment claims—with a proven track record of obtaining favorable verdicts or settlements. He has successfully represented clients in litigation spanning multiple jurisdictions and areas of law, consistently securing outcomes that preserve client interests while reducing unnecessary risk and exposure.

Drawing on experience in both law firms and corporate counsel roles, Jonathan is valued not only for his litigation prowess but also for his ability to counsel businesses holistically. He has advised C-suite executives, property developers, entrepreneurs, and landowners across Colorado on compliance, investor relations, real estate operations, and asset management. Jonathan earned his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in Virginia. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Economics.

In addition to practicing law, Jonathan enjoys the mountains with his wife and children and others who share his affinity for adventure. An explorer at heart, he has summited over 30 fourteeners, taught skiing at a professional level, and can regularly be found trail running or mountain biking on the trails above Boulder.

  • Trust Fiduciary Dispute (Douglas County District Court)
        Successfully defended trustee in a $4.5M fiduciary dispute, reducing damages to under $2M by way of verdict and secured a post-trial settlement for approximately 10% of the initial damages claimed.

  • Real Estate & Entity  Governance (Denver County District Court)
        Represented defendants in a complex dispute involving LLC member rights and judicial dissolution. Achieved favorable buyout settlement and full  release of claims. Featured in the Denver Business Journal.

  • Breach of Contract & Unjust  Enrichment (Arapahoe County District Court)
        Defended claims regarding real estate sale proceeds and obtained a big win at trial with recovery of full attorney’s fees. Secured early property sale through strategic litigation planning.

  • Easement & Title Litigation  (Jefferson County District Court)
        Represented a defendant in a 12-party real estate case involving banks and adjacent landowners. Negotiated a favorable settlement, removal of lis pendens, and termination of the disputed easement.
